MediaTile Extends Digital Signage Business Opportunities for Audio Visual (AV) Integrators and Network Operators at InfoComm 2008 with New On-Demand Services

InfoComm 2008, Strategy Institute Forum, Las Vegas, NV, June 19, 2008. The MediaTile Company announced today that it has extended its award-winning, Cellular Digital Signage™ solutions to include additional services and support that enable audio visual and digital signage system integrators to increase service revenues and grow their businesses in new directions. With these enhancements, AV integrators can offer more lucrative business services than with the traditional digital signage integration services model. MediaTile’s new services include “Private-Labeled”, company-branded versions of the MediaTile on-demand content management system, a configurable “Bookings Channel” for automated conference way-finding and informational systems, and support for advanced remote monitoring and alerts systems.

To support this shift, MediaTile announced two new services for its on-demand Broadcast Portal that will be available later this month. New features of the Broadcast Portal include the “Bookings Channel,” and custom, “Private-Labeled” versions of the Broadcast Portal for Network Operators.

The “Bookings Channel” is a MediaTile Enhanced Services offering that can be used to manage a network of digital signs located throughout a conference center, hotel or other area - any location where way-finding and event location information is continuously updated throughout the day. With this capability, MediaTile digital signs in a venue can easily be “booked” for specific dates and times. Details for, and directions to, booked events appear on centrally located displays, and are automatically updated on destination displays next to event rooms.

MediaTile also announced “Private-Labeled” Broadcast Portals for company-branded service offerings for Network Operators and Integrators, as well as end-user customers. The “Private-Labeled” Broadcast Portal is a custom-configured version of MediaTile’s digital signage software and content management system that displays a particular company’s brand identity, color scheme and services information. Using a company-branded Broadcast Portal places the Network Operator as the primary solution provider with its customers and partners.
