MEDIATILE RELEASES “GAS TV”- FIRST ALL-IN-ONE TURNKEY CELLULAR DIGITAL SIGNAGE PLATFORM FOR FUEL STATIONS

MediaTile GasTV Uses World-Leading Cellular Services and Broadcast Portal to Eliminate On-Site Infrastructure and Speed Deployments

JULY 26, 2007 SCOTTS VALLEY, CALIFORNIA – MediaTile, the world’s first provider of cellular digital signage, today announced the release of the first all-in-one turnkey narrowcast network platform for fuel stations which only requires power to deploy and operate. As with all of MediaTile’s Digital-Sign-In-A-Box™ products, the MediaTile GasTV system eliminates the need for any on-site servers, network gear, on-site configuration and IT support personnel to deploy and use the system. MediaTile is now shipping units which are actively being deployed to licensed gas station TV network operators.

The MediaTile GasTV system is a pump top unit that can easily be configured and deployed on a variety of different manufacturers and sizes of fuel pumping stations. Included in the design of the system is a sliding mount that can be “sized” to match the width of a pump station along with panels that flush-mount to the fascia to deliver an integrated look while offering robust security. The system also boasts the first pump top configuration to use a large wide-screen 22-inch high-definition LCD display with stereo speakers that commands the viewer’s attention.

MediaTile is currently working with a number of integrators, chains and narrowcasters in the US, Canada, Europe and Africa who already have signed client agreements for MediaTile’s GasTV system.

MediaTile cellular digital signage and turnkey narrowcast networks are unique in that they can be deployed virtually anywhere and controlled from a web browser. MediaTile systems are all-in-one displays that require absolutely no software installation, system configuration, network management or technical support to deploy and operate. By simply adding power, MediaTile displays instantly connect over the internet using a cellular-based broadband connection, and are individually or collectively controlled through a secure web-based Broadcast Portal. MediaTile Digital-Sign-In-A-Box systems are available in 19”, 32”, 42” and 47” HD LCD sizes, including touch screen configurations. Also available is a separate “Component Player” that can be connected to almost any pre-existing display – from 5” display panels to immense outdoor electronic billboards.
